Mark Cree
Mark Cree is the CEO and co-founder of Storspeed, a stealth-mode company that is developing disruptive technology targeted at the rapidly growing network storage marketplace. Prior to Storspeed, Mark was a Venture Partner and Entrepreneur in Residence for both Vesbridge Partners and El Dorado Ventures. Mark led Cisco Systems’ entry into storage networking as the General Manager of Cisco Systems’ Storage Router Business Unit. Prior to Cisco, Mr. Cree was the Founder, Chairman and CEO of NuSpeed Internet Systems, an EDV portfolio company that was acquired by Cisco Systems. Prior to NuSpeed, Mark was the Vice President of Marketing at Terabit router developer NEO Networks.
Mark Cree also worked as the Director of Marketing at Switched Network Technologies and successfully brought one of the first IP routers and several early firewall security products to market at networking pioneer Network Systems Corporation (NSC). Mark started his career as a software developer at Control Data Corporation.
Mark holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and a BS in Business and Information Systems from the University of Minnesota. |
