Michael Starkenburg
Michael Starkenburg is the SVP of Technology at Gemstar-TV Guide, where he is responsible for helping the company enhance existing product plans and develop new products and services, with a focus on product innovation for digital platforms and on integrating the company's technology resources across businesses.
Michael has served as an executive advisor to technology companies and venture funds since 1999. His expertise covers several sectors, including Enterprise Software, Technology Services, Consumer Services and Healthcare Technology. Before his work as an advisor, Mike held senior technology management positions at companies such as Advantix/Tickets.com, Cyberian Outpost and America Online. Before his management experiences, Mike was a technology and networking consultant to a variety of clients, including the International Monetary Fund, the National Academy of Sciences, the U.S. Department of Housing, and the Information Technology Association of America. Mike received his B.B.A. in International Business from The George Washington University. |
