Patty Burke
Patty is president of Burke Technology Consulting, which provides marketing strategy, planning and management services to technology companies. Patty has held VP-level positions with Silicon Valley companies for more than fifteen years, providing hands-on leadership in corporate and product marketing, sales and business development. Patty was most recently VP of marketing at Ramp Networks, guiding the company from product introduction through its 1999 IPO (acquired by Nokia in 2000). She previously held vice president positions with Madge Networks and Symantec, and was director of product marketing at Symantec’s Peter Norton product group. Patty was also VP of the Networking/Telecom practice at the consulting firm Regis McKenna Inc., working with companies such as Motorola, PacBell, 3Com and numerous start-ups. In her early career, Patty held positions in non-profits and consumer and sports marketing. She received a BA from the University of Texas. |
