Mark Floyd
Mark is a venture partner with El Dorado Ventures. He joined El Dorado in 2007 after serving as CEO of Entrisphere, a communications equipment company and EDV portfolio company that was recently acquired by Ericcson.
Mark became CEO of Entrisphere after completing the successful $1.5 billion acquisition of Efficient Networks, by Siemens in 2001. Prior to founding Efficient (also an EDV portfolio company) in 1993, Mark served as Chief Operating Officer and a Director of Networth Inc., and was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Director of the Interphase Corp.
Mark holds a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and was the Recipient of the 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Southwest region.
