Owen Brown

Owen Brown is a principal at Technology Strategies and Alliances, a consultant to high-tech startups. He was CEO of Synthesis Software, a subsidiary of MIPS Computers, as well as President and COO of Sun Microsystems in its early stages of growth. Prior to that time, he spent 11 years with Digital Equipment Corp. in a variety of sales management, marketing and general management positions. He holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Auburn University.
