SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Ecast, Inc., the leading provider of digital-downloading, broadband-enabled jukeboxes, has named John Taylor to the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Taylor joined Ecast in 2003 as the senior v.p. of sales and business development and has served as the company's interim C.E.O. since April 2005. "The Board is excited about the progress that Ecast has made this past year and fully supports the strategy that John has articulated for the company going forward," said Heidi Roizen, Ecast board member and managing director of Mobius Venture Capital.

"I am proud of the break out year that we had in 2005 and am excited about the future of Ecast. We are committed to delivering innovative new products, programs and value-add services to the operator community that will transform the marketplace," said Taylor.
