August 13, 2004) Cambridge Health Alliance, Boston, has implemented network security technologies from two vendors. The delivery system is using the Primary Response intrusion prevention software of San Mateo, Calif.-based Sana Security Inc. on servers hosting applications for three hospitals and more than 20 clinics.
Further, the delivery system has implemented firewall and virtual private network software, as well as intrusion detection and prevention technology, on the perimeter and inside its enterprisewide network.
