| Jigsaw Allows Non-Members to Access Its Contact Database |

SAN MATEO -- Jigsaw Data Corporation ( http://www.jigsaw.com ) today announced a new version of its business contacts marketplace that enables salespeople, recruiters, and others to explore and examine the database before signing-up as members. This new capability enables potential users of Jigsaw to try out the online marketplace and verify the depth of its database before they buy a membership to the service. Previously, visitors needed to be registered members to browse the Jigsaw database.
Detailed contact information such as email address and direct phone numbers, as well as specific information about each contact's personal preferences will continue to be available only to Jigsaw members.
Since its launch in December 2004 with 200,000 contacts, the Jigsaw marketplace has seen tremendous growth in both its user community and its user-generated contact database. Today, there are more than 3.7 million contacts at over 370,000 companies listed in the Jigsaw database. Jigsaw members add more than 12,000 contacts every day and also continually revise and update the contact information, creating the most up-to-date and comprehensive database of business contacts in the data industry.
"Our motivation in opening up access to contact data prior to membership is straight forward: We want potential users to see for themselves that Jigsaw is the one and only central and easily accessible service that carries all the valuable and up-to-date contact information they need to do their jobs," said Jim Fowler, CEO of Jigsaw. "We know that sales people spend a significant amount of their time seeking the right contacts for their sales calls. We want to demonstrate the quality and comprehensiveness of our database to potential members before they sign-up, letting them try before they buy."
Visitors to the Jigsaw marketplace can become members by signing up on a Pay or Play basis. (For a free trial, go to https://jigsaw.com/Register.xhtml?landingPage=homepage_trial ) Those who choose to pay will be required to pay $25 a month, which converts into 25 up-to-date and complete business contacts. Those who choose to play will have to add 25 new contacts to the database every month, and will get up to 50 new contacts in return. When needed, additional contacts can be acquired.
Jigsaw is committed to constantly upgrading and improving its database and enhancing its usability for its member community. Last spring, the company introduced integrated contact management and in-depth search capabilities that allowed members to search using up to 17 criteria to find the perfect business contact in the Jigsaw database.
