About Keith Mountford

Keith Mountford is a Senior Operations Manager at a leading global communications equipment manufacturer, responsible for one of its technology development groups. In 1996, as a development manager, he set up one of his company's first offshore software development groups in India. Since then, the team he oversees has grown from 13 people at a single site to more than 650 people at 5 sites and is considered a model for how to do development in India. Within his company, Keith has been a strong proponent of doing development work overseas and has worked closely with partners and managers in India to discover and document the best practices and pitfalls of running an offshore group.
